Announcement

Our Sunday morning service will be from 11 am to 12 noon for the time being. We would ask that you lovingly and graciously join with us in following the guidelines listed below:

  • If you are sick, have a fever, cough, or any flu-like symptoms, please do not attend but watch remotely from your home.

  • If you have underlying health concerns that you feel put you at high risk for Covid-19, do not attend but watch remotely.

  • Please take note of, read, and follow all posted signage in the church building.

  • Always be mindful of social distancing. Each person or family unit should stay six feet away from each other.

  • Please do not move or change the chair configuration in the fellowship hall unless you have verbal consent from one of the Elders or Deacons.

  • The use of the water fountain, community coffee pot, or community food is prohibited. If you desire a beverage, you must bring it with you.

  • Everyone will be required to wear a mask. Exceptions would include children under the age of 2 and other people who have conditions preventing them from doing so. People singing special music, or speaking to the congregation may remove their mask to do so as long as safe distancing is observed.    If you do not have a mask the church will be able to provide one for you.

  • We encourage fellowship; however, the State would prefer that most of our fellowship take place outside.

  • As much as we long to be able to do so again soon, we strongly discourage hugging and/or handshaking.

  • Use hand sanitizer regularly. There will be hand sanitizing stations in the church, and you may use your own.

  • Wash your hands regularly.

We also feel that it is vital to let you know that, according to the State, we must record all who attend each service. We will destroy these records after 60 days. The State desires that we keep these records for contact tracing in the unfortunate event that someone who has been at a church service tests positive for Covid-19. Though we do not agree with this measure in principle, we feel that it is our biblical responsibility to comply with this requirement.

On Sunday, we will have a service at 11 am in the fellowship hall. We will have three doors open, the main entrance, side playroom entrance, and back entrance by the bathrooms. We would ask you to limit your movement to hallways, the fellowship hall, and downstairs bathrooms. By limiting your movement in this way, it will help us comply with sanitation standards.

We are very thankful for you and your love for the Lord, and we appreciate your cooperation and desire to be unified during this time. Especially as we move forward, we hope to resume Sunday School and partaking of the Lord's table together. We pray that our love for the Lord and one another will be our ultimate concern and guiding influence.
